I greet patients and their families throughout the hospital to address their needs and ensure they feel comfortable. I respond to call lights to assist nurses in our fast-paced environment. I also obtain specimens and medical equipment for all LVNs, RNs, and PAs in my unit. Additionally, I transport patients to the pickup area after they have been discharged.

I ensure dignity, practical listening skills, clear communication, and peace of mind for patients in a nursing facility. Also assist with non-clinical needs, such as reading to patients, providing a relaxing environment, and transporting them in a wheelchair around the facility. Observe and report changes in condition to the Hospice company and nursing staff. Communicated with families to provide reassurance and empathy about hospice care processes.
